Mykhailo Mudryk has given the clearest indication yet he is joining Arsenal in a social media post.

The Shakhtar Donetsk winger is keen to join the Premier League side despite the Ukrainian outfit warning they have a 'minimal' chance of signing him in the January transfer window.

But £88million-rated Mudryk posted a cryptic picture on his Instagram story - showing him wearing an Arsenal shirt.

Mudryk, 22, put up a picture of his cat with the caption 'My biggest cheerleader', along with cry-laughing and love-heart emojis.

But eagle-eyed fans noticed Mudryk himself appears in the background of the image, in a YouTube video on the TV screen.

It seems to show the sought-after wonderkid mocked up in a Gunners shirt with someone holding a piece of paper with 'Mykhailo Mudryk' written on it, in an 'Welcome to Arsenal' video with a compilation of his skills.

It is not the first indication the player has given that he wants to join the league leaders, with Mudryk previously sharing pictures of him watching Arsenal on TV and liking multiple comments from fans asking he make the transfer.

The eight-cap international has flown to Turkey with his club for their winter training camp, despite strong interest from both Mikel Arteta's Arsenal and Chelsea.

On Wednesday, Mudryk was spotted deep in conversation with club chief Darijo Srna at the camp as speculation over his future intensifies.
