Romelu Lukaku, Hakim Ziyech and Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang are due to return to Chelsea on Tuesday after having their scheduled comeback dates pushed back once again.
The trio had an extra day added to their allowed absence from the club’s HQ while their futures remain up in the air.
They were originally due back last week but are being given additional time to explore possible moves and were not required to return to Cobham until after the squad departed for their pre-season tour in the US on Monday as they are not in boss Maurico Pochettino’s plans.
Marseille are in talks over a move for Aubameyang and Ziyech saw a move to Saudi Arabia collapse but the Morocco winger is still expected to leave.
Chelsea have been in talks with Juventus and Al Hilal over a deal for Lukaku, though his preferred option of a return to Inter Milan is off after they ditched their pursuit.
Pochettino named a 29-man squad for the US trip though Reece James did not travel due to illness and will meet up with the squad later.
Wesley Fofana has remained behind due to a knee injury. Marcus Bettinelli, Benoit Badiashile and Armando Broja will also be at Cobham while they work their ways back to fitness.
Summer arrivals Christopher Nkunku, Nicolas Jackson, Malo Gusto, Angelo Gabriel and Diego Moreira plus January signing Andrey Santos, who went out on loan after joining, were included.
