Cagliari midfielder Marko Rog has reportedly ruptured his ACL and seems set to miss the rest of the season.
Sky Sport Italia reports the Croatian has suffered a rupture of the cruciate ligament and claims the Rossoblu must cope without the influential midfielder for the rest of 2020-21.
Rog has been a vital member at the Sardegna Arena since his move from Napoli in July 2019, having continued to impress this term.
The player, who has played in all 14 games so far this season, will undergo surgery in Germany tomorrow.
The 25-year-old signed a four-year deal with the Rossoblu, when his transfer to the Casteddu became permanent in September this year.
