Cagliari took a 2-1 win at Chievo in the Coppa Italia to set up a Last 16 clash with Atalanta.
It took the visitors just eight minutes to hit the front, Paolo Faragò playing a low ball into the box for Alberto Cerri who managed to scramble it in despite the pass being slightly behind him.
The Flying Donkeys were on terms 10 minutes later though, Emanuele Giaccherini turning his man on the edge of the box and finding Mehdi Léris for a smart finish.
In the second half a Cagliari corner was flicked on at the near post by Paolo Faragò, and Fabio Pisacane came around the back to head it in.
