In a recent interview with Italian media, Fabio Capello discussed the teams that left the deepest impression on him and shared his thoughts on his former player, Chivu.
Speaking to Gazzetta dello Sport on the sidelines of the Trento Sports Festival, Fabio Capello named Roma as the team that has surprised him most in this early part of the season: "I saw them play against Everton at the start of the year, you could already see Gian Piero Gasperini's influence, but I didn't think he could do what he has done so far, getting into the players' heads right away. You can see it in how they behave on the pitch."
He also commented on Cristian Chivu's Inter: "He's winning me over. I was one of those who pointed out from the beginning that he was an intelligent guy. He went to Parma where he immediately did well, doing positive things. I always supported him and said he would be a surprise. Then he got into the players' heads, not in a disruptive way but by understanding where to put his hands. The players understood that this was the right path.“ Who will win the Scudetto? ”Four teams are fighting for it."
