The Mexican striker will play with LA Galaxy this season and he will be the highest paid player in the entire MLS.

LA Galaxy will be confirming the news about the signing of Javier Hernandez for their 2020 season and the 31-year-old striker will be the highest paid player in the entire MLS. Sports Illustrated first broke the news this morning after days of negotiation between Galaxy, Sevilla and Chicharito.

Hernandez will replace the vacant that Zlatan Ibrahimovic left after two years with the LA Galaxy. Now that it is official, Chicharito is one of the biggest signings in the history of the Major League Soccer alongside with David Beckham and David Villa.

SEVILLA ACCEPTS GALAXY TERMS

The negotiations to sign Chicharito started last week when an entourage of Galaxy flew to Seville to convince the striker and pay his former club his fee. This Friday, Sevilla confirmed that they had accepted the MLS team’s offer and for that reason Hernandez was called to play this weekend when Sevilla hosts Real Madrid for the 20th week of the Spanish League.
