Como secured a 3-1 away victory against Fiorentina in Serie A, with goals from Liberale, Nico Paz, and Douvikas. The win temporarily lifted them to fourth place in the standings.
According to Opta statistics, Como's record of 4 wins, 2 draws, and 1 loss—accumulating 14 points across their first seven Serie A matches this season—equals the club's best-ever start to a Serie A season over the same period.
The only other time Como earned 14 points after seven Serie A matches was in the 1950-51 season, when they posted an identical record of 4 wins, 2 draws, and 1 loss.
