Inter manager Antonio Conte is using the current period to assess which position is best for Christian Eriksen to be deployed in according to a report in today's print edition of Gazzetta dello Sport.
28-year-old Eriksen joined Inter in the recent January transfer window in a circa €20 million deal from Premier League side Tottenham Hotspur but has struggled to make the desired impact since his arrival.
Conte has tried Eriksen in various roles and systems to try and get the best out of him but the former Italian national team manager is still undecided.
Conte's initial idea was to play Eriksen to the left of Marcelo Brozovic in his tried and tested 3-5-2 system and he has also used Eriksen as a left midfielder in a 4-4-2 and as an attacking midfielder in a 4-3-1-2 system.
Eriksen has made eight appearances across all competitions since joining the club on a four and a half year deal, in which he has scored one goal and contributed one assist.
