Bologna midfielder Andrea Poli has received a one-match Coppa Italia ban after he was caught on camera uttering a blasphemous phrase.
The incident occurred during Bologna’s 3-0 victory over Crotone.
Blasphemous phrases are the worst type of swearing in the Italian language and authorities are clamping down when it is spotted on camera.
Also suspended following the Fourth Round of the Coppa Italia are Angelo Tartaglia (Novara) and Massimo Volta (Benevento).
