Hernan Crespo sees Inter Milan as the best team in the country.
Crespo believes Inter will be too strong in the derby against AC Milan next week.
The Argentine played for both clubs and told La Gazzetta dello Sport: “I see Inter one step above the others.
“I think they have a large and competitive squad with men in every role, while Lautaro Martinez is a phenomenal striker who is improving year on year. Simone Inzaghi has everything he wants in this group."
Crespo added: “Inter are already solid and well-drilled with the same basic structure, bringing in promising elements like Marcus Thuram. All the other Scudetto contenders need to get some things sorted out, so Inter are ahead of the curve there.
“Milan will be the main contenders to Inter in the Scudetto race, while I imagine Napoli will struggle to keep up the same pace after winning the title last season," added Crespo.
