Danilo D'Ambrosio has agreed to a contract extension with Inter and only the official confirmation of the extension is missing according to a report in today's print edition of Gazzetta dello Sport.

The Italian full back is currently under contract until 2021 and the new contract will tie him down to the club until 2023. His current €1.7 million annual wages will be increased by 35-40%.
The official announcement of the renewal could be made in the coming weeks and the contract comes as a reward for the 31-year-old who has been a consistent performer this season for the club.
He is currently sidelined due to a muscle injury he sustained in training and the report goes on to state that he could return for Inter's league match at home to Cagliari at the end of this month. Failing that, he should be back the following week for the match with Udinese.
This season he has made 14 appearances across all competitions, in which he has contributed a single goal.
