Bologna have announced the signing of FC Basel attacker Dan Ndoye.
Ndoye joins Bologna on-loan for the season with an option to buy.
Bologna will pay a €2m loan fee and can buy Ndoye outright for €9m.
The Switzerland international said: "I'm very happy to be here and to start with the team. Bologna is a big city, a historic club.
"I know Aebischer, we played together in the national team. We talked when I learned about the transfer: he's happy to welcome me and I'll join him."
"I don't know Serie A, but I played against Fiorentina in the Conference League, it was a tough game and this is what I expect from this championship. I will do my best to help the team by putting my qualities into play.
"I'm a winger but I can also play as a striker: I'm fast, I like dribbling and playing one-on-one. I like scoring and serving assists: that's what I'll try to do here too."
