Fiorentina have sent midfielder Josip Brekalo on-loan to Hajduk Split.
Viola management agreed to release Brekalo to Hajduk Split as he struggled for minutes this season.
Fiorentina announced this morning: "ACF Fiorentina announces that it has transferred, on a temporary basis, the rights to the sporting performances of the footballer Josip Brekalo to HNK Hajduk Split."
After arriving from Torino, Brekalo has made 29 appearances for Fiorentina, scoring once.
Fiorentina will earn €500,000 from the move, which has angered fans from Brekalo's former club Dinamo Zagreb.
