Napoli midfielder Kevin de Bruyne has revisited his departure from Manchester City last summer.
De Bruyne admits he had offers from around the world, but was determined to remain at the elite level.
He told Radio Crc: "The decision was made in agreement with the club.
"Sometimes, when you've been together for a long time, it happens. I had offers from all over the world, but I still love playing football at the highest level, and Napoli gave me this opportunity.
"When you make these decisions, there are many things to consider, like money, family, and everything else, but in the end I decided to go to Napoli."
On his fitness, De Bruyne added: "I feel good, I'm back well and sooner (from a hamstring injury) than expected. It was really good for me at the start of the season, I played a lot of games, but then the injury came.
"Now, though, I think I'm doing well: I'm really happy."
