Former Italy star Paolo di Canio hailed the performance of Simon Kjaer in AC Milan's victory over Tottenham.
Di Canio was impressed by the way the Dane shut down Spurs striker Harry Kane in the Champions League round 16 first-leg clash.
He said, "Congratulations to Milan, even man against man controlled.
"I was worried about Kjaer isolated with Kane, instead with experience he always stopped the attacker and restarted the action.
"As (Stefano) Pioli says, modules and systems don't count, the attitude really made the difference tonight."
