Lazio legend Paolo di Canio believes Antonio Conte is on his way to greatness with Napoli.
Ahead of the Azzurri's return to the Champions League this week, Di Canio reflected on Conte's work with the defending champions.
He said, "Well, Napoli is rebuilding, and the first upgrade must be winning a second consecutive Scudetto and at least reaching the Champions League round of 16.
"Is this a goal within the Azzurri's reach? Yes, because I expect the great enthusiasm of the Neapolitan people and the targeted transfers made on the market to provide the right boost."
He then praised the Azzurri's journey under Conte, "First of all, I think that if you win the Scudetto twice, one after the other in Naples, they'll put a statue of you at Castel dell'Ovo. And the championship seems well within the Azzurri's reach, as they've expanded their squad with many important players."
And in the Champions League? "First of all, they have to have fun and put themselves to the test. It has to be a great celebration, for the players and for the fans. Playing with the pressure of winning is almost never a positive thing."
