Juventus have entered the race to sign Manchester United right-back Diogo Dalot - according to reports.
Dalot, 23, has almost exclusively been used by Erik ten Hag in that position this season with Aaron Wan-Bissaka cast aside and only playing four minutes in all competitions. Victor Lindelof has been deployed as a stand-in at times, but plans are in motion to bring in another right-sided defender in the winter or summer windows.
However, could United first have to stave off interest in Dalot? Bayern Munich have long since been credited with a move for the Portugal international, while Italian giants Juventus also have him on their shopping list.
Reports from Sport Witness and Gazzetta dello Sport claim that Juventus manager Massimiliano Allegri sees Dalot as a "dream" replacement for Juan Cuadrado. United have triggered their one-year extension option in his contract.
Elsewhere, reports from Diario SPORT state Newcastle have been offered a chance to sign former United forward Memphis Depay for only €15million next month. He remains on the radar for Ten Hag as well as the Dutchman bids to find a suitable replacement for Cristiano Ronaldo following his controversial departure.
Depay, 28, struggled during his previous 18-month spell at United between 2015 and 2017 before developing into a top player at Lyon with 76 goals and 55 assists from 178 games there. Barcelona signed the Netherlands attacker on a free transfer last summer, but he has since been deemed surplus to requirements.
Poland captain Robert Lewandowski is currently the first-choice striker at the Nou Camp and Barcelona are willing to let Depay leave for a cut-price figure when the market reopens. However, with Ten Hag seemingly interested, he could also miss out should Saudi-backed Newcastle take advantage of that bargain price for themselves.
