Emerson call made, attacking change - The Tottenham team Antonio Conte should pick vs AC Milan

Our football.london Tottenham Hotspur reporters have named the teams they would select for Wednesday evening's vital Champions League showdown against AC Milan at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium

Following back-to-back defeats against Sheffield United and Wolves, Antonio Conte desperately needs his Tottenham team to rediscover their shooting boots if they want to continue in this season's Champions League. Facing AC Milan in the second leg of their Round of 16 tie, Spurs go into the encounter needing to overturn a 1-0 deficit.

So who exactly will the Italian name in his Tottenham XI on his return to the dugout? Our football.london Tottenham reporters have named the teams they believe he will select below.

After two matches without scoring, the returning Antonio Conte has to change something up for this crunch Champions League tie.

Up front is where the Italian is likely to have more decisions to make with Son Heung-min, Harry Kane and Dejan Kulusevski all struggling to find the net at Molineux on Saturday. So did Richarlison and Lucas Moura at under-strength Championship side Sheffield United in midweek.

Gold's team: Forster; Romero, Lenglet, Davies; Emerson, Skipp, Hojbjerg, Perisic; Richarlison, Kane, Son

Although they did lose at Wolves last Saturday, Antonio Conte could quite easily name the same starting XI for the Champions League clash vs AC Milan. Pedro Porro performed well at Molineux and the European games may suit him a bit more rather than Premier League fixtures.

Spurs are also going to need to offer plenty in attack and quality in the final third due to AC Milan's lead, thus giving Conte another reason to start the new signing over the in-form Emerson Royal. Tottenham have yet to see the best of Ivan Perisic and he is perhaps very lucky that Eric Dier is suspended for the tie as that means Ben Davies will play in the back three rather than taking the Croat's wing-back berth.
