New arrival Christian Eriksen will make both his league debut and first start for Inter in this evening's league clash against Udinese, according to a report from today's paper edition of the Milano based newspaper Gazzetta dello Sport.
The report details how the Danish midfielder was Inter's biggest acquisition in last month's transfer window, with the Nerazzurri investing €20 million into him. Both the club and coach Antonio Conte believe that he will be key in the race for the league title against Juventus and Lazio. The player made his Inter debut earlier this week, coming off the bench against Fiorentina in the Coppa Italia.
From Thursday onwards, Eriksen took part in the full training sessions and was taught the game plan by the Nerazzurri staff, the report continues. The Nerazzurri are keen to win this game in order to break from their run of three draws in a row in the league, especially considering their next three games after tonight's are against Milan, Napoli and Lazio.
