Borussia Dortmund's star striker Erling Haaland has moved to cool fears that he is facing a lengthy lay-off due to injury.
Haaland was left out of Dortmund's Champions League squad to face Lazio on Wednesday and manager Lucien Favre said the Norway striker is facing a spell on the sidelines until January with a hamstring tear.
Haaland has been in sensational form this season with 17 goals in 14 games in all competitions and represents a big loss for Dortmund.
But on Thursday, the 20-year-old took to Instagram to cool the fears over his fitness.
'Good news! Spoke with my doctors. Back soon,' he wrote, alongside a picture of him giving the thumbs up.
In Haaland's absence, Dortmund drew 1-1 at home against Lazio - Raphael Guerrero scored shortly before half-time and Ciro Immobile equalised from the penalty spot for the Italian side.
The draw sealed the German club's place in the last-16 and if they win against Zenit St Petersburg in their final group match, they will finish the group in first place.
Meanwhile in the Bundesliga, Dortmund sit fourth in the standings, four points behind leaders and defending champions Bayern Munich.
Dortmund meet Eintracht Frankfurt at the weekend and then have four more Bundesliga games remaining for the rest of 2020.
It is not yet known when in January Haaland will make a return for Dortmund.
