Former Juventus president Giovanni Cobolli Gigli feels the club fell into trouble when they lose Beppe Marotta.
Juve are in crisis as the club is investigated over their financial management.
Cobolli Gigli said: "I am a Juve fan, I think about the consequences that could arise for the team. We left Juventus after several weeks of punishment with several important results. The hope is that it will resume on this path.
"Marotta was great at Juve. (Fabio) Paratici? Bad instead. Together they were fine because there was Marotta who avoided doing disproportionate things, as he did. Maybe (Andrea) Agnelli was unable to keep him quiet once Marotta left.
"I have always been against (Cristiano) Ronaldo's arrival, and I keep saying it was a big mistake."
