Massimo Ferrero has invited outgoing Roma captain Daniele De Rossi to join Sampdoria. “If he wants to watch films for free...”
De Rossi will end his life-long association with Roma this summer, and Ferrero made it clear Samp’s doors were open to the 35-year-old.
“We talked about him a few weeks ago during a train journey,” the club’s President told Telenord.
“Then he told me he wanted to take a year out. If he wants to join Samp now, I’ll be there.
“He always goes to my Adriano cinema [in Rome]. Now I tell him: if you want to watch films for free, come over.
“I was very sad, as I was when Totti was forced to retire. I invited him to come to Samp, but he replied that he couldn’t.”
