Liverpool were forced to settle for a point against Brentford as the newly promoted side rallied back to score a late equaliser in a thrilling 3-3 draw at the Brentford Community Stadium on Saturday.

Following Chelsea's defeat to Manchester City earlier in the day, Liverpool had the chance to extend their lead at the top of the table to three points.
Yet it was the hosts that took a shock lead on 27 minutes after a well-worked freekick was tapped home at the back post by Ethan Pinnock.
Four minutes later, however, parity was restored as Jordan Henderson's cross was headed in by Diogo Jota.
Liverpool began to dominate at the start of the second period, and Mohamed Salah put the visitors ahead on 54 minutes, slotting the ball home after a pinpoint pass from Fabinho.
It was then Brentford's turn to respond quickly, as a goal-mouth scramble ended with Vitaly Janelt getting the ball just over the line on 63 minutes.
Curtis Jones scored a screamer from distance with his left-foot four minutes later to put Liverpool 3-2 up, in what was his last action of the game.
Salah then had a golden opportunity to put the game beyond doubt when he was put through one-on-one with goalkeeper Raya, but the Egyptian looped the ball over the bar.
Yet the hosts simply refused to be beaten in a valiant display. Eight minutes from time, Yoane Wissa showed great composure to dink the ball over Alisson to send the home faithful into raptures.
Liverpool remain top of the table but are just one point ahead of Chelsea, while Brentford end the day in ninth place.
