Sporting director Rino Foschi believes Cristiano Giuntoli is the type of transfers chief Juventus need.
Napoli sports chief Giuntoli is being linked with a summer move to the Bianconeri.
Foschi told TMW: "Giuntoli comes from different programs, he comes from a club that looks at each operation down to the millimetre without throwing away one euro. Napoli sought sporting gain, as well as technical gain. They were very good in sales.
"Juventus is an entity that takes important players, with important salaries, often making mistakes.
"The amortization of certain champions cannot be carried out, so Juve will have to get used to a different type of policy, where you have to start from scratch.
"Operation CR7 was a failure under very many plans. This - with a type of manager like Giuntoli - will be impossible to happen. I have the feeling that that operation has also alienated a shrewd manager like (Beppe) Marotta."
