From Tanguy Ndombele to Richarlison: Tottenham's biggest recent transfer flops

  /  autty

Danel Levy recently claimed Tottenham had 'invested over £500million' on new players since 2019.

However, that money has not been spent wisely. It's been squandered left, right and centre.

Here's five signings who sum up the club's muddled thinking...

Tanguy Ndombele - £54m

Club-record signing joined weeks after the Champions League final. Minimal impact and shipped out on loan for the last two seasons.

Richarlison - £52m

Signed to compete with Kane, Son and Kulusevski in front three but made only nine Premier League starts and has just two Champions League goals to his name.

Pedro Porro - £40m

Signed on January deadline day, seemingly to placate Conte, who was gone just seven weeks later.

Sergio Reguilon - £30m

Signed by Jose Mourinho but struggled to make an impact and now on loan at Atletico Madrid where his value is plumetting.

Bryan Gil - £21m + Erik Lamela

Highly-rated winger now back at Sevilla on loan with Lamela - and Tottenham's £21m. Disastrous deal.
