Gabriel 'Gabigol' Barbosa has admitted that he is in no rush to make a decision on his future as he sets his focus on loan club Flamengo's final games of the season.
“I am very happy and excited with the affection that the Flamengo fans have shown me. I hope that it continues regardless of what happens in the future,” he explained to the gathered media following the resounding 6-1 win over Avai.
“I am very happy at Flamengo and everyone knows that. I try to repay the fans for the affection they give me by helping the team get results. This was another important win for us as we wanted to win our final home game.
“I am in no hurry, nor is Flamengo in a hurry. We have a match against Santos to prepare for. I hope it is a great game and then we have the Club World Cup which could be the biggest title of the year for Flamengo, so we have to think about the matches first.
