Gianluca Ferrero has been named new president of Juventus.
Ferrero steps in after predecessor Andrea Agnelli and the board resigned from Juve yesterday.
Parent club Exor announced this morning: "With reference to the decisions taken yesterday by the Board of Directors of Juventus FC and in view of its Shareholders' Meeting convened for January 18, 2023, Exor announces that he will recommend Gianluca Ferrero for the position of President of Juventus.
"Business director, mayor, member of boards and committees of numerous companies, Ferrero has gained significant experience and the necessary technical skills, as well as a genuine passion for Juventus, which make him the most qualified person to fill this role.
"Exor will publish the complete list of its candidates to the renewed Board of Directors in accordance with the law."
