Jack Grealish is keeping no secrets over his expected sponsorship deal with Italian fashion brand Gucci.

It was previously reported that the Manchester City star is 'on the verge of agreeing a seven-figure endorsement deal' which will see him promote the luxury brand.

Though there has been no official confirmation from either party as yet, the 26-year-old was pictured showing up to training wearing one of their products.

Pictured on Wednesday heading to training in the aftermath of Tuesday's Champions League victory over Atletico Madrid, he was spotted wearing a £800 Gucci branded hoodie.

The 26-year-old's profile has skyrocketed over the past 12 months in which he has become one of the country's most popular footballers.

He joined City for a British record £100million fee last summer, while he endeared himself to the wider English public at Euro 2020.

This has led to some lucrative sponsorship opportunities and it was reported by the Athletic that he is poised to agree a major unprecedented deal with Gucci.

He has been seen wearing Gucci clothing in the past but this partnership would make him an official ambassador for the brand alongside personalities from the film and music industries.

The winger has played 31 times during his first season at the Etihad Stadium, scoring four goals and contributing three assists.

He came off the bench in Tuesday's 1-0 victory over Atletico Madrid in the first leg of the Champions League quarter-final.

Grealish will be hoping to play a big part in their clash with Liverpool at the Etihad Stadium on Sunday, in what could be a potential title-decider.

The club could yet win the treble this season as they are also due to face Jurgen Klopp's side in the FA Cup semi-final at Wembley.

Liverpool, having won the Carabao Cup, are still on for a Quadruple of silverware in the closing weeks of the season.

Assuming he stays fit, Grealish is pretty much a certainty to be in Gareth Southgate's squad for the World Cup, where England will face Iran, United States and one of Wales, Scotland or Ukraine in the group stage.

Having been used off the bench in their 2-1 friendly win over Switzerland, Grealish started the 3-0 win over Ivory Coast last Tuesday, teeing up a goal for Raheem Sterling.

With his move into fashion, Jack follows in the footsteps of players like Marcus Rashford who did a campaign with Burberry last year and Cristiano Ronaldo's iconic collaboration with Emporio Armani.

In 2010 Cristiano replaced David Beckham as the new poster boy for the brand, posing in his underwear with his chiseled abs on display.

Meanwhile British fashion icon Beckham starred in a new campaign for Adidas, promoting the German sportswear brands Ultraboost 21 trainers last February after first starting work with the brand in 2003.

He has previously worked with watchmakers Tudor, whiskey and shaving brand Gillette.

In November, Burberry launched a philanthropic partnership with Manchester United striker Marcus to support global youth charities.

The announcement, featuring Rashford in a Burberry cape, highlighted his efforts to fight child food poverty alongside his sports acumen.

Loewe also became one of the first luxury brands to sign a female footballer when it released a campaign with US football captain Megan Rapinoe in January 2020 with a video in which she discussed the possibilities of change.
