Samir Handanovic is trying his utmost to be available for this weekend's second Derby della Madonnina of the season with AC Milan according to a report in today's print edition of Tuttosport.
The Slovenian shot-stopper sustained an injury during training on Friday afternoon and x-rays have showed that he has sustained a hairline fracture to one of the fingers in his left hand.
Handanovic is working with a specialist to try and get back but will not risk himself if he is not recovered as he is aware that the team have several other big games coming up and he does not want to rule himself out for even longer by rushing back.
As per the Turin newspaper, Inter manager Antonio Conte has been calmed by Daniele Padelli and the performance he put in against Udinese.
Padelli made his first league appearance for Inter since his arrival in the Summer of 2017 and gave a good account of himself and kept a clean sheet.
