Fernando Llorente broke his Udinese duck with a real poacher’s goal before Roberto Pereyra completed the counter-attack to sink Sassuolo.
The Friulani are on impressive form at the moment and confirmed it by taking the lead on the stroke of half-time with veteran Llorente at full stretch to meet Nahuel Molina’s pass.
Both goalkeepers had to make tricky saves, but Pereyra finished off a well-worked Rodrigo De Paul move in stoppages.
