Como boss Cesc Fabregas has played down comparisons made between himself and Johan Cruyff, insisting: "I am a long way from so many, let alone him".
Como have made a strong start to the Serie A season, winning 10 points from their opening four games to leave them third ahead of matchday five, when they face Frosinone.
Their impressive form also comes off the back of a stellar campaign last term, as they secured Champions League football for the first time in their history with a win on the final day of the season.
Having overseen Como's impressive rise from Serie B, Fabregas has been compared by some onlookers to the great Johan Cruyff and his impact at Barcelona.
However, Fabregas does not place himself anywhere near the Dutch legend.
"I am a long way from so many, let alone him," said Fabregas when asked about the comparisons.
"Jose Mourinho said there are coaches who have won titles and others who won zero titles, and I am in the latter camp.
"The most important thing is Como, not me. I am in this project and I give it my all.
"The key for a coach is time to work, and I think this team has improved so much over the last two years.
"If we can continue with this same side for two, four, five years, then we can really do something, but if we change every six months, it’s difficult."

Only Roma and Inter (both 12) have won more points in Serie A this season than Como, and the top two will face off on Saturday.
While Fabregas revealed he would be watching the match, the Spaniard insisted Como are not in the title race.
"In my view, they are the two strongest teams in Italy," said Fabregas.
"I will watch it because I love football and think it is going to be an incredible game, not because they are our direct competitors for position."

Kvernadze has scored in his last two Serie A appearances, with only one Frosinone player scoring in three consecutive games in the competition, which was Matias Soule in October 2023.
The Georgian has attempted (28) and completed (13) the most dribbles in Serie A this season.
Como – Martin Baturina
Baturina has been involved in three goals (two goals, one assist) in his last two away Serie A appearances, scoring in each of those games (against Napoli and Genoa).
In this calendar year, only one midfielder has scored in three consecutive away Serie A matches: Napoli's Scott McTominay between February and April.
MATCH PREDICTION – COMO WIN
Since the start of 2026, Como have collected the most away points in Serie A (30, W9 D3 L1 in 13 games) and boast the joint-best away attack, level with Inter, with 26 goals; four of those goals came in their last away match against Genoa.
Como have won their last two Serie A matches against teams from the Lazio region, beating both Roma and Lazio in 2026.
They could now achieve three consecutive wins against sides from this region for the first time in the competition's history.
However, Frosinone have won four of their last five league matches against Como in Serie B and Serie C (L1); in the last season the two sides met (2022-23), Frosinone won both encounters 2-0.
After a run of six consecutive defeats in which they conceded an average of 3.5 goals per game, Frosinone won their last Serie A match against a Lombardy side (1-0 v Monza, May 2024) and they could beat opponents from this region in two consecutive top-flight matches for the first time.
