Inter CEO Alessandro Antonello discussed the Nerazzurri's finances and their balance sheets at the 'Partners Get Together' meeting with the partners of the Milanese club. His words were noted by Italian broadcaster Inter TV.
“We have achieved important and historic new results. We have reached €417 million in turnover, with €218 million in growth since the arrival of the Suning group. But we are not satisfied, we want to grow again in terms of turnover also to be able to invest in strengthening the team.”
The Nerazzurri are currently second in the league after 12 games, sitting only one point behind rivals and league leaders Juventus. Coach Antonio Conte understands the importance of keeping up the pressure on the league leaders and will be hoping for a victory against Torino tonight in order to keep up the club's strong form.
Juventus play Atalanta this afternoon and anything less than a victory could see the Nerazzurri return to the top of the table.
