The new expansion MLS team announced the third player of the club as they keep shaping up ahead of its 2020 debut season in the US league.

Inter Miami announced on Thursday their third signing, Christian Makoun from Zamora FC of the Venezuelan first division, to start a new adventure as a professional in the MLS.

The 19-year-old central defender is one of the best prospects of the U20 side of 'La Vinotinto.' Makoun had a small phase with Juventus with the Turin side not making the purchase option valid over the summer, so once the loan was over, he returned to Zamora until his Inter Miami deal was done.

The Florida side Sports Director, Paul McDonough was pleased with the arrival of one of the biggest Venezuelan football promises, besides highlighting his character and experience in Europe.

"We are happy to add a young player with solid experience in both Europe and South America to Inter Miami ranks. Christian is a player with good reputation and good character. He confessed he aims to represent himself and his country at the highest level and this is the mentality we want to build in Inter Miami," McDonough said in the presentation.
