Inter Milan are interested in signing West Ham's out-of-favour striker Gianluca Scamacca, according to reports in Italy.
The 24-year-old joined the Hammers from Sassuolo in a £31.8million deal last summer but has failed to live up to expectations.
However, his performances in England have not put off potential suitors, with Inter keen to sign Scamacca to replace Edin Dzeko this summer, according to La Gazzetta Dello Sport.
The Italian outlet report that talks between Inter and Dzeko are stalling, with the striker keen to get a two-year extension to his current contract which expires in June.
However, the Serie A giants are only willing to offer a one-year extension and should an agreement not be made, they will turn their attention elsewhere.
Former Manchester City striker Dzeko has been among the goals for Inter this season, scoring 7 league goals in 25 appearances.
But at the age of 36, Inter are not planning their long-term future around him and signing a younger striker appears to be the aim.
Meanwhile, Scamacca has managed to score three times in 16 Premier League appearances this season and looks to have fallen down the pecking order.
He made his first appearance since January after coming off the bench in the Conference League last-16 first-leg 2-0 win over AEK Larnaca.
Michail Antonio and Danny Ings appear to be ahead of him in West Ham's hopes of avoiding the drop and a summer exit appears to be likely for Scamacca.
David Moyes' side will return to action on Sunday when they host Aston Villa at the London Stadium.
