Inter wages: How much does each player earn?

  /  autty

In 2020/21 Inter ended a decade long period of dominance to Juventus to reclaim the Scudetto, with Antonio Conte leading the club to top spot in Serie A.

Inter remain one of the biggest clubs in the world, attracting world class players.

With that comes not only big money spent on transfers, but also wages.

The club is not in a healthy financial situation currently which is what ultimately led to the departures of Romelu Lukaku and Achraf Hakimi in the summer for significant transfer fees.

Other players were recruited either on free transfers, loans, or small fees as they attempt to balance the books.

Even with those exits, there are still some players on massive money in the black and blue side of San Siro.

How much does every Inter player earn?

Unfortunately for Inter, their two highest earners are players who don't regularly feature in the starting XI - Alexis Sanchez and Arturo Vidal.

Inter will certainly be worried about the summer of 2022 as they have no less than eight members of the first team squad who will be out of contract.

Samir Handanovic, Vidal, Ivan Perisic, Andrea Ranocchia, Aleksandar Kolarov, Danilo D'Ambrosio, Matias Vecino and Marcelo Brozovic are all within the last 12 months of their current deals.

Though the club will be happy to get he likes of Vidal off the wage bill due to his high salary and minimal impact on the starting XI, they will be keen to renew the contract of Brozovic in particular as he is a key starter in midfield.

New signing Edin Dzeko immediately becomes one of the highest earners at Inter as the reason for the minimal transfer fee from Roma is that Inter knocked down the price and eventually agreed on a permanent transfer for the Bosnian rather than a loan deal.

Roma wanted to get rid of Dzeko's wages and so were prepare to accept a lower fee.
