Arturo Vidal has rejected Manchester United's advances due to only wanting to leave Barcelona for Inter according to a report in from the online edition of Gazzetta dello Sport.

The 32-year-old Chilean international wants to leave Barcelona during this transfer window having become unsettled by his lack of starts and after relations with manager Ernesto Valverde completely broke down.

Vidal, as confirmed by Inter chief executive Giuseppe 'Beppe' Marotta, is one of Inter's targets this window and the club are willing to pay him handsomely to pull on the Nerazzurri shirt.

As per the report, Inter are willing to offer Vidal a two and a half year contract that would come with an annual salary of €6 million, which would make him one of the highest paid players in the squad.

This season Vidal has made 20 appearances across all competitions. In 811 minutes on the pitch, he has scored six goals and provided a single assist.
