According to Turkish journalist Yağız Sabuncuoğlu, Besiktas was on the verge of completing the transfer of Luis Henrique, but Inter Milan, having failed to acquire the Portuguese star after Cancelo ultimately chose Barcelona, halted all negotiations for the transfer.
The 24-year-old Luis Henrique joined Inter Milan from Marseille last summer for €22.8 million. So far this season, he has made 18 appearances for the Nerazzurri, starting 11 times, and has only provided one assist.
