AC Milan icon Pippo Inzaghi is backing Romelu Lukaku to be a big success with Roma.
Lukaku joined Roma last week on-loan from Chelsea.
Inzaghi told Il Messaggero: "I thought Lukaku would stay at Inter, with Simone.
"In the end, however, I realise that he went to the best team for him. Lukaku's effect on Roma can be the same as what he has had Batistuta in that city, do you remember him?
"The push towards the Scudetto was dictated precisely by the arrival of the Argentine. The squad lit up and so did the team. Lukaku, paired with Dybala, can bring Mourinho to the Scudetto area, then I don't know if they'll be able to win. The Belgian could not have chosen a better place if he was looking for stimuli and appreciation."
