Italian Media: Zaniolo demands salary increase or may leave Udinese this summer

  /  autty

According to MilanNews.it, Zaniolo is demanding a pay raise after an excellent season at Udinese, or he may leave this summer.

Zaniolo performed well last season, and Udinese subsequently signed him from Galatasaray for 10 million euros.

The forward scored 6 goals and provided 7 assists, but he is dissatisfied that the Friulian club has not yet increased his annual salary, which currently stands at 1.8 million euros.

Zaniolo is demanding an annual salary of 3 million euros or a contract extension of two additional years until 2031, with the salary increase spread over the extension period.

According to Corriere della Sera, Zaniolo is open to leaving during the summer transfer window. His preferred destination is Milan, having previously delivered an excellent performance at the San Siro when Udinese defeated Milan this season. Lazio has also shown interest, but a move there is unlikely due to potential complications involving Zaccagni.
