Luciano Spalletti has a full-strength squad at his disposal as Italy prepare to take on France in the UEFA Nations League in the Parc des Princes on Friday evening.
The Italy manager doesn’t have any injuries to contend with and is therefore expected to name a competitive side against Les Bleus. Paris Saint-Germain’s Gianluigi Donnarumma, playing in his home stadium, will start in goal. Spalletti has already stated that he will be returning to a back three, which is expected to be composed of Arsenal’s Riccardo Calafiori, Inter Milan’s Alessandro Bastoni, and Napoli’s Giovanni Di Lorenzo.
Sandro Tonali, who recently made his return for Newcastle United following a lengthy ban, is also expected to return in the midfield, with Italy set to be deployed in a 3-5-2 formation.
