Juventus are planning on making a move for Mauro Icardi regardless of whether he stays with Paris Saint Germain according to a report from CalcioMercato.com.
The recently turned 27-year-old striker joined the reigning French champions on a season long loan with €70 million option to buy from Inter this past Summer and there have been contrasting reports in recent weeks regarding what PSG's intentions are with Icardi.
Some reports have stated they are certain to take up the option whilst others state they are not so sure on the idea. Either way, Juventus want to add Icardi and it now remains to be seen if they will have to deal with Inter or with PSG instead.
The Bianconeri club plan to redesign their attack ahead of next season given that Gonzalo Higuian's contract expires at the end of it and Cristiano Ronaldo, as good as he is, is not getting any younger.
Icardi is Juventus' first choice but the report does state that he is not the only player that they are considering.
