Juventus fans were fooled into thinking the club had signed Matthijs de Ligt after they used an almost identical model on their website.
The Italian side marketed their new home strip online by using a model with the same cropped blond hair and jawline as the Dutchman.
De Ligt is considering his future and Juventus are among the front-runners to capture one of the brightest young talents in world football.

Understandably, fans are desperate for any kind of news and plenty of them were duped by the model online.
Even on further inspection, the similarities are uncanny between the two men.
Usually there would be an official announcement of a player signing but some thought the Juventus website had made a mistake and let slip that De Ligt would be joining.
