Franck Kessié's future at Barcelona is being decided during the tour of the United States. Juventus are pushing to sign him and the two clubs are working on a deal that will almost certainly bring in at least €15 million for the Blaugrana.
According to the 'Stampa', the departure of Kessié could take place through a loan with a mandatory option to buy, but there is no agreement on the final conditions.
According to these reports, Juventus are proposing a loan in which they would be responsible for the player's salary and include an option to buy that would be obligatory if the Italian team were to finish first or second in Serie A.
Barça consider that this clause entails too much risk and want the obligatory purchase to be conditional on Juventus qualifying for European competition at the end of the season, something that should happen without any problem.
The positions are getting closer and both Juve and Barça hope that a final agreement can be reached in the next few days, although Barça are leaving open other possibilities for Kessié's future, as there could be more than one club interested in the player.
Juve know this and are putting pressure on both the Catalan club and the player's entourage to close the deal as soon as possible. Juve coach Massimiliano Allegri wants Kessié and will do everything possible to sign him.
Meanwhile, Kessié is not in such a hurry. The midfielder has expressed his willingness to listen to offers and Juve's offer could attract him, although he has not made a decision.
Kessié believes he can have minutes at Barça and with a contract for three more seasons, the player feels comfortable at the club and in Barcelona.
Xavi Hernandez has spoken to him to make it clear to him that he might not get minutes, but even so, Kessié is very hesitant to leave a club that is growing and will have a chance of competing for major titles this season.
