Knee surgery for Inter's Vecino

Inter will be without Matias Vecino for the rest of the season as he prepares to undergo knee surgery.

Vecino has seen just 22 minutes of action since the restart due to an ongoing issue with his right knee.

Now, the decision has been made for the midfielder to go under the knife in a bid to treat the problem.

“Tomorrow will see Matias Vecino undergo an arthroscopic meniscus repair operation on his right knee at Professor Ramon Cugat's clinic in Barcelona,” Inter announced on their official website.

The 28-year-old may have already played his last game for the club, with possibly Sandro Tonali arriving and Radja Nainggolan returning this summer.
