Inter striker Lautaro Martinez has said that he is happy to have stayed at the club and he thinks it will be a challenging season for the Nerazzurri, according to a report in the Italian media.
As has been reported by FCInternews, the Argentine forward was talking about his decision to remain with the Nerazzurri and the current happy atmosphere that exists at the club and within the team.
He is certainly looking forward to the new campaign and he wants everyone to be able to see how hard they are working and fighting to be successful.
"We are happy to start this new season and to continue with this concept of family. We want to make everyone understand that we are fighting for this and that we are united off the pitch as well."
There was also a question for the Argentine about the women's game which is under more spotlight than usual right now with the Women's Euros taking place.
He said that he is happy that Serie A Femminile has turned professional this season: "As of this year they are professionals, I am happy for the growth they are having in the last period. I'm happy, it's definitely important for them."
He was also asked what he wants to pass on to the young players at the club and he focused on hard work and attitude.
"To raise the level every day, to be responsible. That's what I always did as a child. Today I still think this is the right attitude. I'm happy to have stayed at Inter. It will certainly be a challenging season, but we are ready to return to winning ways."
