Lazio have released a statement denying a row between president Claudio Lotito and coach Maurizio Sarri.
It had been claimed Sarri was resigning on Tuesday after clashing with Lotito.
But Lazio announced in the evening: “President Claudio Lotito and coach Maurizio Sarri, after last night's meeting at Formello, reaffirm they are 'fully in sync on the transfer strategy and united in intent aimed at making the team even more competitive for this coming season.'
“The rumours suggesting otherwise that emerged over the last few days and especially the last few hours, as well as not being truthful, are genuinely doing damage to the club, which is on the stock market, and creating a negative effect on an environment that only needs harmony and calm.
“This is why those who wrote those rumours will be prosecuted in the appropriate courts."
