According to Corriere dello Sport, four Lazio players will miss the match against Monza, and Rovella will undergo tests next week.
Lazio made a strong start to the season but have been affected by injuries to several key players. Gudmundsson and Cancellieri were sidelined during the recent international break. The club provided an update on the conditions of Gudmundsson, Rovella, and Marusic via an official statement.
Rovella is continuing his rehabilitation and recovery program with gradually increasing intensity and volume, aiming to return to full team training soon. He will undergo a final imaging check this week as he recovers from a calf injury.
Marusic is also continuing his rehabilitation with a gradually increasing training load. The club stated that his recovery progress depends on clinical response, functional recovery, and imaging checks he will undergo next week.
Gudmundsson dislocated his shoulder while playing for Iceland. The club stated that he is still wearing a brace and continues his prescribed treatment and rehabilitation program under the continuous supervision of the medical team.
Cancellieri sustained an injury at the start of the break and is currently undergoing individualized training, gradually resuming fitness work based on recovery of his injury.
