Lega Serie A have launched a new task force which has been put together with the aim of providing new stadiums in Italian football according to a report in today's print edition of Rome based news outlet Corriere dello Sport.
The report explains that a number of Serie A clubs have new stadium projects in the works and the new stadiums will result in increased revenues and Lega Serie A are keen to ensure that new stadiums are built as a result.
Inter and AC Milan are two of five Serie A clubs who currently have plans for a new stadium. The Nerazzurri and Rossoneri clubs shared their plans for a new state of the art stadium to replace San Siro at the end of last year and talks are ongoing between the clubs and the Milan city council.
Fiorentina, Roma and Bologna all also have plans to build new stadiums to replace their current ones.
