Therefore, as Liverpool are unlikely to recruit any midfield reinforcements ahead of next season, Anfield insiders expect Oxlade-Chamberlain to remain at the club, according to the Mirror.
The former England international has averaged less than six starts a season in the last two campaigns, establishing himself predominantly as a role player and impact substitute under Jurgen Klopp.
