Between 25,000-30,000 are expected to attend tomorrow night's Coppa Italia last 16 match-up between Inter and Cagliari at San Siro, according to a report in today's print edition of Tuttosport.
The winner of tomorrow night's clash will face the winners of Atalanta vs Fiorentina in the quarter final stage of the competition with that match scheduled to take place on January 29.
If Inter manage to get the better of Cagliari and then Atalanta or Fiorentina, they would face one of Napoli, Perugia, Lazio or Cremonese in the semi-final stage.
AC Milan, SPAL, Torino, Roma, Parma, Juventus and Udinese are all the teams that they could potentially face-off against in the final on May 13 at the Stadio Olimpico.
Inter are seven time winners of the competition and last won it back in 2010/11 which was in fact the last silverware that the club picked up across all competitions.
With Antonio Conte now at the helm, there is a lot of optimism that Inter may not be waiting much longer to raise a trophy of sorts once more.
